Move Smartly
Identity design, brand system, web experience, signage
Helped unite two brands into one guided experience
Where the market meets the search
Move Smartly had built something unusual for real estate: a genuine editorial platform. Powered by Realosophy, its data-driven brokerage, the platform’s market analysis had become a trusted read on Toronto real estate. But the intelligence and the brokerage operated as two brands with two separate experiences – the insight in one place, the home search in another.
That split obscured the very thing that set them apart. Conventional real estate brands lead with agent personalities and glossy listing photography. Move Smartly’s edge was knowledge – a team that helped people understand the market they were buying into, not just close on a house.
We brought both brands together under a single name and a single experience: Move Smartly. Market intelligence and editorial content now connect directly to the home search, so the analysis someone reads and the listings they browse are part of the same conversation. It positioned the team as informed guides rather than salespeople – people who explain the market, not just move you through the transaction.
The visual direction borrowed from magazines instead of listings. Serif headers, a cream and warm-black palette and an editorial wordmark separate Move Smartly from the interchangeable look of conventional real estate.
That editorial sensibility runs through the full brand system – including the places real estate rarely treats as editorial. Listing materials, social content and signage are all designed to read like Move Smartly, making market knowledge the throughline of the brand rather than an afterthought.
