Kristin Steenstra

Kristin creates designs that are clear and clean with a clever twist, that are conceptually driven, and that are informed by deep research into the clients she works with. Inspired also by interior design and escaping back to nature—she was raised on a dairy farm with five siblings—Kristin strives for simplicity in her life and in her work. At Parcel, and formerly at Soapbox Design, she’s worked on many award-winning projects and campaigns—most recently last year’s Canadian Civil Liberties Association “Act for Freedom” booklet, which received a 2015 Communication Arts Design Award.

“Great work comes from thinking conceptually about a project before you get on the computer and do the pretty part. It all starts with an idea.”
